The Guidelines
Does Chapter 8 affect me?
The guidelines state that all vehicles that are stationary on high speed roads (50mph+) should be fitted with ‘high visibility markings’ if they are stopped for the purposes of works or inspections.
The high visibility markings have to be on the rear of the vehicle, and should cover as much of the rear as possible without obscuring windows, vehicle lighting or registration plates.
